"Shehzada" postponed by a week out of respect for Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', reveal makers of "Kartik Aaryan's" film.


Pathaan is breaking records and there's no stopping this, Shahrukh Khan starrer from any quarter. Now, it has had a ripple effect. For those who've come in late, SRK's action-adventure has broken many box office records and has amassed Rs 533 crore worldwide over a period of just 5 days.

Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada has been postponed by a week. It will not release on February 10 but February 17.When contacted, Shehzada's producer Aman Gill said, "Yes, we have postponed the film Kartik has immense respect for Shah Rukh and we all love him. We decided that it would be best for our film if we come after a week."
Shehzada,starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon will now release on February 17, the makers announced on Monday. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, Aman Gill and  Kartik Aaryan, was earlier scheduled to arrive in theatres on February 10. Shehzada also marks the debut of Kartik Aryan as a producer.

Action-packed scenes, quirky dialogues and power-packed performances from the complete star cast of the film increases the excitement level among the fans.

‘Shehzada’ is an official Hindi remake of  2020 Telugu  blockbuster film ‘Ala  Vaikunthapurramloo’ which starred  Allu Arjun  and Pooja Hegde in the lead role.


The release of Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada was pushed back by a week only a day ago. The much awaited film will now hit the screens on February 17. But just two weeks before that, the Hindi-dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will be releasing. The Allu Arjun-starrer is the Telugu original on which Shehzada is based and the release of the Hindi version so close to the remake may just affect its box office performance.

On Tuesday, Goldmine Telefilms announced that the Hindi-dubbed version of the film will release on their YouTube channel on February 2 and will be available to viewers free of cost.
