Chiranjeevi's film "Waltair Veerayya" box office collection day 10: this film exceed Rs 200 crore worldwide
Directed by Bobby Kolli, Waltair Veerayya features Chiranjeevi in the role of a fisherman who helps a local police officer in arrest an infamous drug peddler, who escapes from police custody and flees to Malaysia. The film also stars Ravi Teja in a key role.
The makers took to Twitter to share a poster which confirmed that the film has reached the Rs 200 crore club. Reacting to the new milestone, a fan wrote in the comment section, “Sir please do this kind of films. Please don't do remakes. We don't want them! This is the huge result of a straight movie.” “Mega star for a reason, ” added another one. Someone else also went on to call Chiranjeevi as ‘God of masses.’
Meanwhile Chiranjeevi on Monday interacted with fans from 27 American cities over a video call.he took to twitter to share a glimpse of the live interaction.in the an extremely happy Chiranjeevi was seen taking to fans.He told them,that he was so happy with their love that he can even afford to skip having breakfast because both his stomach and heart are full.
"Waltair Veerayya" was released for the Sankranti festival last Friday. It clashed at the box office with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s "Veera Simha Reddy", which was released one day in advance and managed to do well at the box office, too.
As the third week approaches, the makers have decided to hold success celebrations. On January 28th, the event will take place at the Arts College grounds in Hanamakonda, Warangal. Megastar Chiranjeevi is holding his film event in Warangal for the first time.
While Chiranjeevi is now basking in the success of Waltair Veerayya, he will soon commence work on his next Telugu project, Bholaa Shankar, a remake of the Tamil film Vedalam. The film, directed by Meher Ramesh, also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh in key roles.
